About me and

my experience

I like to think I started young and started hungry. After diving into the advertising industry while still in college, I broadened my horizons by taking jobs at start-ups (as far away as Australia), exploring different positions in agencies and companies alike, and eventually finding my way back to Minneapolis.

My official focus (emerging media and platform innovation) only just begins to cover the passion I have for the newest and most technological parts of the advertising industry; I have always looked to push the boundaries of advertising and bring new and innovative communication tactics to life. I do my best to look at the future while not being afraid to try something (even if it ends up failing) and find passion in educating audiences of all types.

Speaking & Events

The future can be intimidating, and with the increasing focus on new and emerging communications and media platforms, driven by consumers, innovation is more important than ever. From Digital Marketing 101 to my Future of Retail research, my fast-paced keynote addresses have been designed to excite and inform any group, inspiring innovation and change throughout day-to-day work.

Digital Marketing Workshops

To understand how to reach modern customers, companies must have insight into the platforms consumers use each day. I have designed my Digital Workshops from the ground up to bring emerging digital platform education to any group through hands-on and interactive learning. As a result, companies can look forward to a more engaged and innovative workforce that is confident and comfortable with today's most common platforms. Topics include Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Amazon. Custom programs are always available upon request.

Reports & POVs

A custom point of view on a category or focus is, at times, exactly what a group or specific challenge needs. Each month, I focus on a topic that not only affects the marketing work we do each day but also drastically affects the consumer landscape around us. These reports are available for custom use and development upon request. Topics include retail, Amazon, and social media.

Networking

Networking has been key to my discovery and growth throughout my career as I find myself learning more from others in my life than from any book, website, or YouTube video.
